It’s official. Pope Francis is coming to New York. Papal, he confirmed to reporters on Monday. Francis will make his first stop in Washington, D.C. on September 22, visiting the White House and celebrating mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. His second stop will include the United Nations in New York City on September 25, followed by a visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and mass at an unidentified location. The final stop includes Philadelphia on the 26th to take part in the World Meeting of Families.
