Porn Broadcast on Jakarta Billboard

Police launch cyber crime investigation.

Police in Jakarta are investigating after porn was shown on a billboard on a major road during rush hour on Friday. In a statement issued Saturday, police said they were still trying to determine a motive for the stunt. A cyber crime unit has joined in the investigation, police said, and a computer has been seized from a private company. Motorists were likely shocked by the video, as porn is outlawed in the predominantly Muslim nation. Investigators are reportedly seeking to determine if the incident involved hacking. The advertising billboard was shut off to stop the porn from playing, though many motorists still managed to record it with their phones, police said.
