Police are looking for a suspicious person seen leaving the scene.
Police are looking for a suspicious person who was seen leaving the scene of a fire at the former home of the police officer who is charged in the death of Walter Scott. Hanahan Police Department said a fire was reported at the former home of Michael Slager on Friday night. But by the time first responders arrived on the scene, the fire had been put out. Officials said that Slager once rented the house but moved out when he was arrested in April 2015. Slager was released on bond on Monday.
