This is why you back up your invaluable research! Sook Shin and husband Ralf Janknecht have spent years researching a cure for prostate cancer. But on Sunday, the couple, who lead the Oklahoma University prostate cancer research team, were taking a lunch break at a nearby Panera Bread restaurant when someone smashed through their car window and stole Shin's Macintosh laptop—the one with all their data. Shin and Janknecht are asking the culprit to please return the laptop for a $1,000 reward, no questions asked. "This would tremendously help us and you would do something for society," said Janknecht.
