Pot Failed to Cure Tommy Chong of Cancer

Actor Tommy Chong is undergoing a second round of treatment for cancer, after relying on marijuana for treatment for the first round. “I’ve had some medical issues lately,” Chong told Us Weekly. “I got diagnosed with rectal cancer.” In a 2012 interview with Don Lemon, Chong said he was considering hemp oil as medicine to heal his prostate cancer. “I’m using cannabis like crazy now, more so than ever before,” Chong told Us Weekly. “I’m in treatment now. I’ve been—just the case either way, either I get healed or I don’t. But either way, I’m going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up.”
