Exit polls show California voters rejected Proposition 19, a ballot question that would have legalized marijuana and allowed local governments to tax its sale. Despite receiving national attention, the Proposition 19 campaign received little monetary support and was opposed by law enforcement groups and elected officials from both political parties.
