President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will speak at this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. On March 11, the president will participate in a keynote conversation at SXSW Interactive with Evan Smith, editor-in-chief of The Texas Tribune. Five days later, the first lady will give the opening keynote address at SXSW's music festival. The appearances will mark the first by a sitting president and first lady in the festival's 30-year existence.
