Since no one claimed Wednesday night’s $260 million ticket, the Powerball jackpot has soared to $320 million and could continue to grow before the next drawing Saturday. Wednesday night’s drawing was the 12th in a row without a Powerball winner. A few smaller prizes have been given, including $1 million to three lucky people in Florida, Oklahoma, and Kentucky, whose tickets had the first five numbers correct. This is the third time in the past year that the Powerball jackpot has topped $250 million.
