The radio station that aired a prank call that was put through to the hospital caring for Kate Middleton had called the hospital multiple times in order to discuss what the call recorded. “We attempted to contact them on no less than five occasions,” the head of the company that owns the radio station said. “We wanted to speak to them about it.” In addition, the call was vetted by lawyers before being aired. The nurse that put through the phone call was later found dead of an apparent suicide. The hospital called the prank “appalling.”
