Bill Maher, who donated $1 million to Barack Obama in 2012, has been trying to get the president to appear on his HBO show for the past eight years. Now, after launching a petition on his 60th birthday that garnered over 320,000 signatures on the White House’s We the People website, Obama will finally appear as a guest next Friday night, Nov. 4, just four days before the presidential election. Maher made the announcement live on this week’s Real Time and posted a separate video online informing fans of the big news.
