Prince William: ‘The Timing Is Right’

After eight years of dating, Prince William is finally engaged to marry his girlfriend, Kate Middleton. “The timing is right now. We are both very, very happy,” William announced on Tuesday. In their first join interview, Middleton said that joining the royal family was a “daunting prospect,” adding, “Hopefully I’ll take it in my stride.” William proposed by giving Middleton his mother’s engagement ring while on vacation in Kenya in October. The couple plans to wed next spring or summer in London and live together in North Wales after.
