Princes William and Harry Launch Charity Foundation

Following in the footsteps of their charity-minded mother, Princess Diana, Princes William and Harry are starting their own philanthropic foundation, aptly named The Charitable Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. The foundation is being launched with some of the money willed to them by the late princess, and aims at supporting young people, wounded members of the military, and environmental sustainability projects. William and Harry’s father, Prince Charles, set up his own foundation after leaving the military 30 years ago, and a spokesperson said, "The Prince of Wales is pleased that his sons are beginning to develop their charitable lives. It is not surprising that some of his focuses, such as young people, environment, and military are reflected in some of their interests."
