The wife of Australian pro golfer Jason Day was taken out of Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena on a stretcher after LeBron James crashed into her Thursday at the Cavaliers’ home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. James was chasing a loose ball after intercepting a Russell Westbrook pass when he fell while attempting to tip the ball back to Tristan Thompson. Ellie Day was carried out of the game with her head in a brace after she appeared to have hit her head on the floor. James went to check on her while play was stopped for an extended period and later tweeted an apology. Day was released from a hospital early Friday, with the details of any injuries unknown.
