A pro-Trump outside organization has pulled its ads targeting Nevada Republican Sen. Dean Heller. America First Policies went after Heller, one of the most vulnerable Republicans in the upper chamber, after he announced he would not vote for the Senate’s Obamacare repeal bill. “America First Policies is pleased to learn that Senator Dean Heller has decided to come back to the table to negotiate with his colleagues on the Senate bill,” the group said. The decision to run ads against a Republican senator drew a rebuke from Maine Sen. Susan Collins, who said the ad campaign “appalled” her. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that the health-care vote would be delayed until after the July 4 recess.
