Amid all the fawning over the recently released iPhone 4, one caveat stood out. Many users reported that when they held their new iPhone in a certain way, antenna reception all but disappeared. Apple and Steve Jobs quickly admitted there was an issue, telling buyers that it was “a fact of life for every wireless phone” and instructing them to simply hold the phone in a certain way. Now, Jobs appears to be backtracking. Gizmodo reports that Jobs personally emailed an iPhone user who had complained about the issue with the curt response, “There is no reception issue. Stay tuned.” Pun intended?
