Prosecutor: Hostages Killed by Gunman

The four hostages dead after a terrorist attacked a kosher supermarket in Paris were killed by Amedy Coulibaly when he entered the store, not by the police who came to rescue them, according to a Paris prosecutor. Thirty people buying food at a kosher supermarket in Paris on Friday hid in a cold-storage room for five hours as the siege unfolded. After hearing gunfire two floors above, the group huddled in the freezing temperature hoping to avoid hypothermia—and bullets. Coulibaly was killed during a standoff with police and 15 hostages were freed on Friday afternoon.
