A Cincinnati prosecutor officially declined Monday to file charges against the parents of the boy who fell into a gorilla enclosure at the city’s zoo late last month. Officials said the parents were being properly attentive, even as the boy “scampered off.” The 450-pound gorilla was shot and killed during the incident in order to protect the child.
