Prosecutors have reached a plea agreement for the 15-year old girl in the “Slender Man” case, who tried to stab a classmate to death when she was 12-years old. Morgan Geyser will avoid a trial and instead plead guilty as charged but not criminally liable, thus ending the three-year-old case. Geyser will remain in a state mental hospital. Earlier this month a jury found Geyser's co-defendant, Anissa Weier, not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. Three psychologists agreed that the two girls shared the delusion that the internet character Slender Man would kill them or their families if they didn’t kill their sixth-grade classmate. Geyser and Weier were both initially charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide in the attack on their friend, Payton Leutner.
