Protect Your Privacy With a Burner Phone Number
It’s an easy way to avoid telemarketers.
If you're sick of being inundated by phone calls from unlisted or unrecognizable numbers — from politicians, telemarketers, credit card companies, and scammers — you should seriously consider getting a second phone number. It’s an easy way to keep your personal number private, and direct all those annoying calls to another voicemail inbox. Getting an additional phone number isn’t as difficult as you might expect (no need to sneak into a pawn shop to pick up a burner cell). Services like Hushed Private Phone Line can easily provide you with a second number so that you can keep your real number hidden from questionable Tinder dates or that strange fellow you bought a chair from on Craigslist. Choose your own area code from the U.S., Canada, and even the UK, and you're set. A lifetime subscription to a Hushed Private Phone Line is usually $145, but you can get one for $25 today while they're 82% off.
