A federal judge ruled on Wednesday that protesters will be allowed to demonstrate near the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland where the Republican Party will be holding its presidential nominating convention. A different judge scrapped the plan last week, to the objections of the American Civil Liberties Union, which applauded the settlement with the city of Cleveland as a significant “improvement.” Protests are expected to be well-attended at the convention over the party's nomination of Donald Trump.
