Protesters Attack Trump Fans in San Jose

A California campaign rally for Donald Trump turned violent Thursday night, as several hundred protesters gathered in San Jose. The Republican presidential nominee’s supporters were punched, struck, smacked with food and eggs, and hit with items. As the rally ended, some Trump supporters who wanted to return to their cars were chased and beaten. Other protesters waved Mexican flags while Trump’s supporters yelled at them to “go back to Mexico.” According to the Mercury News, a young woman was at one point struck in the head by a flying metal parking barricade.
