Protesters Rage in Tahrir Square

Egypt's military offered angry protesters concessions on Tuesday, but they weren't enough to drive civilians out of Tahrir Square. The military agreed to hand over power by July 2012, a year earlier than expected, but protesters want the military's field marshal to step down immediately. Clashes between demonstrators and riot police continued into the night in Cairo, while Egypt's ministry of health has counted at least thirty dead and hundreds more injured since protests began on Saturday.
