Protesters in Kosovo lit the government's headquarters on fire on Saturday in anger over a European-Union deal involving its former ruler Serbia. Police used tear gas to keep several thousand protesters at bay after putting the fire out. The deal would give the Serb minority greater local governmental power in the region, which opposition leaders find appalling. Around 40 protesters were arrested and some 28 people were hurt.
