A Puerto Rican police officer is in custody after he killed three other cops at police headquarters in the city of Ponce, the Associated Press reported Monday. The suspect, Guarionex Candelario, held a lieutenant, commander, and officer hostage in an office before killing them. A police spokeswoman told the AP that officials were about to start negotiations with Candelario when he shot the three. Candelario sustained injuries during the incident and remains hospitalized.
