Hermès Unveils $12,900 Basketball: For the September 4th re-opening of its Beverly Hills store, Hermès has unveiled a basketball -- which is priced at $12,900. Only two of the basketballs have been produced at the company's Parisian special-orders atelier. On why the ball isn't the brand's signature orange, Hermès U.S. CEO Robert Chavez said: "It represents the sky, the ocean and all the beautiful pools that are a way of life in L.A. and Southern California." Zara Co-Founder and Richest Woman in Spain Dies: Rosalia Mera, co-founder of popular fashion retailer Zara and Spain's richest woman, died Thursday at age 69.
