Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton for their “shock tactics” in the U.S. presidential election, in an exclusive interview with Bloomberg News. “I don’t think they are setting the best example,” he said. Though reports have suggested Putin may have ties to Trump, he refused to take sides in the battle, blasting them both. The FBI is investigating cyberattacks on two Democratic organizations, as well as the Clinton Foundation. While the Democratic candidate has said she believes Russia is involved, Putin dismissed that claim. He accused both candidates of playing “the anti-Russian card,” adding that he believes the strategy is “shortsighted.”
