A Ugandan girl who appeared in the Disney movie Queen of Katwe has died of a brain tumor at age 15. Nikita Pearl Waligwa played a young chess player in the 2016 film, which also starred Lupita Nyong’o. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016 and went into remission, but the cancer returned last year.
