Questions for Kennedy

Q&A

Ted’s best of times and worst of times.

From his greatest happiness to his biggest extravagance, Kennedy opened up to Vanity Fair in 2006. His answers, at once cheeky and profound, reflect a dynamic politician and loving family man. The thing he most enjoyed? “Sailing on Mya with Vicki at my side and my dogs, Splash and Sunny, at my feet. And, of course, a Democrat in the White House and regaining our majority in the Senate. ” What’d he’d change if he could do it all over? Win in 1980. But his favorite motto, of course, is that line that closed the book on his Presidential career: “The dream shall never die.”
