Disgraced singer R. Kelly was released from jail Saturday after his $161,000 in back child support was paid, according Chicago Sun-Times reporter Nader Issa. A Cook County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman made the announcement about the child support payment, per The Associated Press. Kelly was released on bail Feb. 25 following his arrest in Chicago for his sexual abuse case. A judge ordered Kelly jailed on Wednesday, however, for failing to pay court-ordered child support.
