No one knows the future of The Office after its star, Steve Carell, leaves at the end of next season. But in an interview with The Daily Beast, Rainn Wilson offered a suggestion for Michael Scott, Carell’s character on the show: “I think we should get a piece of Steve Carell’s beautiful black hair and we should clone him.” Wilson said. “And we should have Steve Carell as Michael Scott running The Office. And if cloning is not an option then certainly an android could be.” Earlier this week, Mindy Kaling told Entertainment Weekly that Dwight Schrute, Wilson’s character on the show, would replace Scott as the boss. But when asked about the promotion, Wilson opted for modesty: “I have no idea,” he said. “I just show up and act ridiculous.”
