Rand Paul has apparently decided the Senate suits him. Just three months after entering the body, the Kentucky freshman filed papers in late March for his re-election to his office in 2016. But could it all be a ploy to leave the Senate sooner? Federal rules could permit Paul to transfer funds raised for one campaign to another. And Paul has suggested that he might run for president in 2012—unless his father, Rep. Ron Paul, does so.
