Paul insisted to CNN’s Candy Crawley that this written policy would come forward, and when that happens, “we need to know who wrote the policy and who approved the policy.” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also used the Sunday-morning talk shows to criticize the “culture of intimidation” in the White House. “The nanny state is here to tell us all what to do, and if you start criticizing, you get targeted,” he said.
