Country singer Randy Travis is in critical condition at a Texas hospital, his publicist said on Monday. He was admitted Sunday and is suffering from complications of recently acquired viral cardiomyopathy, or the weakening of the heart muscles by a viral infection. Travis was hospitalized briefly in 2012 after a bar fight near Plano, Texas.
