Ex-Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is being sued over claims of sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, and “intentional infliction of emotional distress arising out of forcible rape” by former Florida State student Erica Kinsman. Kinsman, who accuses Winston of attacking her in December 2012, filed the civil suit in circuit court in Orlando, Florida, and seeks in excess of $15,000. A Florida State University investigation did not find Winston responsible of violating the student conduct code and he was never charged criminally for the alleged assault.
