The legendary rapper Heavy D died today at the age of 44. His cause of death is unknown. A 911 call was made from his home at 11:25 this morning to report an unconscious man in the walkway, and when help arrived Heavy D was conscious and speaking. He was brought to a nearby hospital and died a short time later. Heavy D, whose real name was Dwight Arrington Myers, played at the BET Awards last month and appeared to be in good health.
