The governor is blowing up: just three days after he entered the race, Rick Perry is pulling almost double the numbers of his nearest challengers in the GOP primary, a new Rasmussen poll shows. In a poll of 1,000 likely Republican primary voters, 29 percent said they supported Perry, while 18 percent said Mitt Romney, and 13 percent would throw their support behind Michele Bachmann. Sixteen percent said they were undecided. Since his announcement in South Carolina last Saturday, Perry has been campaigning vigorously in Iowa, where the first GOP primary vote will be held.
