This morning, we asked our readers which of Romney's most recent endorsements (Bush, Rubio, and Ryan) would help him the most.
Here were the results. A majority didn't think any of them made a difference:
None of the Above - 56%Marco Rubio - 18%George H.W. Bush - 8%Paul Ryan - 4%Some other answer - 14%
For most of our readers, there was no endorsement that could help Romney out at all:
Paul W. In terms of helping Romney with Republicans, I doubt any leader would really settle the matter. Most Republicans seem resigned to having him as the candidate (which is a terrible footing to start). For independent and/or centrist voters who are key for any Presidential election, I doubt anyone at this point could make Romney look good. And for pet owners, even an endorsement from Lassie would still make us hate the SOB for what he done to that poor dog...
Others thought that some endorsements could help Romney, just not one of the three people we highlighted. One reader suggested Jeb Bush:
saladdin. I choose none of the above. I think the endorsement that helps Romney the most is Jeb Bush's. He helps in Fl, unlike Rubio, and in the end, I think that's what matters most.
