Newt Gingrich has received a lot of backlash lately for his constant comparisons between himself and Ronald Reagan. Now, the revered former president’s son Michael has taken to talk radio to set the record straight. Reagan insists that Gingrich was, in fact, serving in Congress during his father’s presidency. “And the work he’s done for the Republican Party since, helping elect Republicans to office, and he’s done nothing but really uphold my father’s legacy for so many years,” he declared.
