A rebel missile attack on a Ukrainian post near the Russian border has killed 30 Ukrainian soldiers and border guards, according to government officials. If that number turns out to be true (and there is the potential for even more casualties), it will be the deadliest rebel attack since the ceasefire was ended on June 30. “Up to 30 [were killed]. It is not excluded that the number of victims will rise because these bloodthirsty scum despicably shot from Grad [missile] systems and there is destruction,” an adviser to Interior Minister Arseny Avakov said. Ukraine has so far been successful in its push against rebels, managing to get them out of Sloviansk and push them back to Donetsk.
