Red Sox Beat Dodgers to Take Game 1 of World Series

The Boston Red Sox claimed Game 1 of the World Series late Tuesday after beating the Dodgers 8-4 at Fenway Park. The team pulled out all the stops to defeat the Dodgers after clinching a 5-4 lead. Andrew Benintendi had four hits, J.D. Martinez drove in two early runs, and pinch-hitter Eduardo Nunez finished the Dodgers off with a three-run homer off Alex Wood in the seventh inning. Game 2 is set for Wednesday at Fenway Park, with David Price set to start against the Dodgers’ Hyun-Jin Ryu.
