James O’Keefe could be big pimpin’ again in no time: Federal prosecutors have reduced the charges against O’Keefe, the conservative agitator who orchestrated the “ACORN pimp” stunt and was arrested in January for tampering with the phones in U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu’s office. O’Keefe is now charged with entering a federal building under false pretenses, a misdemeanor, and the new charges come as part of a bill of information, which often signals a plea deal.
