After 28 years, breakfast television will no longer feature Regis Philbin. ABC's longtime host gave his final signoff on Friday's Live With Regis and Kelly. His final hour was star-studded: New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg gave Philbin keys to the city, Tony Danza shouted from the audience "We love you Regis!" and Disney CEO Robert Iger gave Philbin a tribute. Philbin pretaped a heavily scripted segment, which he dismissed as "a little long, but OK," and his cohost Kelly Ripa gave a sentimental speech so emotional that her hands were shaking. Starting Monday, Ripa will host Live With Kelly solo.
