The remains of a 14-year-old girl who went missing in 1999 have been found in the former home of a rapist in the small town of Lima, Ohio. Nicholle Coppler ran away from home 13 years ago and was last seen at the house of Glen Fryer. Fryer, who committed suicide in 2002 while awaiting trial for raping a different girl, was said to be suspected of human trafficking. His home was being dug out after it was repossessed by the state due to unpaid taxes. “I knew in my heart it was Nicholle,” said Krista Coppler, Nicholle’s mother. Lima Police Chief Kevin Martin said the discovery of Coppler’s remains means the homicide investigation is reopened.
