Newt Gingrich isn't the only one unimpressed by Robert DeNiro's joke at an Obama campaign fundraiser Monday night. Following Gingrich's complaints and demands that the president apologize on behalf of the actor, First lady Michelle's spokeswoman conceded, "We believe the joke was inappropriate." While fundraising at one of his NYC restaurants, DeNiro had joked, "Callista Gingrich. Karen Santorum. Ann Romney. Now, do you really think our country is ready for a white first lady?"
