Rep. Michael Grimm is expected to plead guilty Tuesday to one count of tax evasion in federal court. Grimm, a Staten Island Republican, won re-election in November despite facing a 20-count indictment surrounding a health-food store that he once owned in Manhattan. This is not Grimm’s first brush with the law. He has long been under investigation for alleged campaign-finance irregularities, and in January he threatened a reporter on live television, saying, “I'll break you in half. Like a boy.”
