Report: Chief of Staff Kelly Is Losing Influence on Trump
Gen. John Kelly has already started to lose his grip on President Trump’s White House after being installed as the chief of staff in order to tighten up procedures. According to a Bloomberg News report, Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired by Kelly, is back on Trump’s call list; Corey Lewandowski, who Kelly banned from the grounds unless he personally escorted him, had dinner with the president this week; and Kelly was not in the room when Trump decided to fire H.R. McMaster and replace him with John Bolton. According to Bloomberg News, only two men were present for that decision: Trump and Bolton.
