The CIA has reportedly denied a request by the Senate Judiciary Committee to view some of the agency’s information about Russian election interference. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) told reporters Monday that she and Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) had asked CIA Director Mike Pompeo last week for access to materials on the agency’s investigation into Kremlin interference in the 2016 presidential election. Some of the material has already been seen by congressional investigators. “We were turned down,” Feinstein said, before adding that the “issue isn’t finished,” Politico reports. The material requested relates to obstruction-of-justice matters that fall in the Judiciary Committee’s jurisdiction, she said.
