A new report says emails contradict the British newspaper Mail on Sunday’s denial that it used phone hacking for stories on celebrities. The emails from the hacker, Greg Miskiw, to Mail editor Chris Anderson, contained quotes from actress Sadie Frost’s voicemails, according to the news site Byline. The emails, the site says, “are the product of a sophisticated illegal surveillance operation on the communications of Ms. Frost, her actor ex-husband Jude Law and their former nanny Jade Schmidt.” The Mail ultimately failed to score an interview with the nanny. The newspaper has denied before a government commission and in statements that it participated in hacking.
