Former Glee star Mark Salling has died of an apparent suicide at the age of 35. His lawyer Michael Proctor confirmed the death in a statement to People. “I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning,” Proctor said. “Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment.” Salling was due to be sentenced in March after previously pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. Los Angeles Police Department responded to “a death investigation” Tuesday morning but could not identify Salling to People.
