Report: Fox News Sat on Story About Trump’s Relationship With Porn Star

In the days before the 2016 presidential election, Fox News reportedly sat on a story about an alleged sexual relationship between then-candidate Donald Trump and porn actress Stormy Daniels. CNN reports that the story—which was first revealed on Friday when The Wall Street Journal reported on an alleged $130,000 payment arranged by a Trump lawyer to keep Daniels quiet—was spiked in October even after reporter Diana Falzone had a statement from Daniels’ manager confirming the alleged relationship with Trump. Fox’s digital chief, Noah Kotch, told CNN that “we were unable to verify all of the facts and publish a story.”
